It's Here! Weekly Whispers - Friday 10th July 2026

This week’s Weekly Whispers looks a little different as we shine the spotlight on our fantastic Curriculum Enhancement Week. Around school, classrooms have been transformed into places of discovery, creativity and hands-on learning, giving students the opportunity to explore interests and develop new skills beyond their usual timetable. 

This edition offers a glimpse of some of the brilliant activities taking place in school this week, alongside updates on work experience, news of our upcoming charity staff football match between Whittington Green School and Outwood Newbold, and a few other highlights from across the school.  

And for those who were hoping for a week off… sorry! Mr Ashworth’s legendary Brain Teaser is still here, ready to put your problem-solving skills to the test. 

Even with the soaring temperatures, it’s been a fantastic week full of enthusiasm, teamwork and memorable experiences. We hope you enjoy this edition of the Weekly Whispers. Read it here!
