World Mental Health Day - Thursday 10th October 2024
🟡🟡 On Thursday, 10th October, we are coming together to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day and highlight the importance of supporting each other's mental health. It’s a chance to show that we are here for one another, and that no one is alone. We are asking everyone to wear something yellow. This can be a subtle touch like a bow, hat, or socks, or an exchange of one item of uniform for something yellow to show our unity and support. Uniform must be worn.
🟡🟡 Please remember, no hoodies or football shirts. Keep it simple and smooth, but impactful. There’s no charge for the day, just the chance to come together for an important cause. Let’s brighten the day and show our support for mental health!
🟡🟡 For those seeking support on a wide range of issues, please visit the Support tab on our school website. Here, you’ll find a variety of resources, including help guides and links to external agencies, all designed to provide guidance through life’s challenges. Whether you’re looking for advice or need a little extra help, it’s a valuable tool worth exploring: https://www.wgs.derbyshire.sch.uk/Support/
